Speck, courgette and saffron fusilli

Speck, courgette and saffron fusilli is a fast yet tasty preparation as the main ingredients are of high quality, they are made in Italy and DOP. Just choosing Italian products, a simple dish can become gourmet, to serve for an important dinner.



  • 350 g of Fusilli
  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 150 g of speck
  • 1 packet of saffron
  • 150 g of courgettes

    Put the water on the hob to boil, salt it with course salt. Wash, clean and slice the courgettes into circles, cook in a pan with two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. In the meantime, slice the speck and let it cook in another pan with the left over oil. Let the saffron dissolve in a glass with some of the pasta water. Take a large pan and place the condiment all together inside: courgette, saffron and speck.

    Drain the pasta when it is al dente and toss in the pan. Serve the pasta hot with a light dusting of Parmesan cheese and black pepper.
