Barbaresco DOCG Barbaresco (2010)

A great Italian red wine of ancient origins, it is said that it takes the name "Barbaritium" from the barbarian people of Gaul who invaded the Roman Empire. This wine is made, like Barolo, from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the hills of the Langhe and ventilated at an altitude of 500 meters. It is aged for at least two years in small oak barrels. With its deep red colour, the aroma is characterised by a fruity aroma reminiscent of raspberries and blueberries as well as hazelnut and vanilla. The Barbaresco wine is an absolute star of the regional cuisine of Piedmont, in particular recommend it in conjunction with roasted red meats and cheeses of medium and long age.

Barbera D'Asti Barbera Merum (2011)

This wine is one of the high points of the Bellicoso company. The zone of production comprises of the territory between the provinces of Asti and Alessandria. With a ruby red colour, the Barbera Merum has many strong points: the red has a dry well-bodied taste that with ageing only becomes more harmonic and of full flavour. In its youth, the Barbera Merum is ideal for snacks of cold cuts and cheeses, to go alongside polenta, strong risottos and cooked vegetables. With ageing and increasing of body, the wine becomes a great accompaniment of white and red meat alike as well as vegetarian meals. A truly amazing wine.
