White Truffle Fettuccine

White truffle is considered king of the table, a prized ingredient, which comes at quite a high cost. However, eating a plate of white truffle fettuccine is something that has to be done at least once in life, one of those things that must be tasted to fully understand.

HOW TO

Ingredients for four people:

 

Alba White Truffle Fettuccine does not need other ingredients as these are the only protagonists of the dish. White truffle has such a decided and particular taste that adding any other flavours is advised against. The most delicious dish in Italian cuisine has no need for frills, just two products of excellent quality.

Bring the salted water to the boil for the pasta and, in the meantime, melt the 80g of butter in a large pan. Drain the pasta when it is “al dente” and add it to the butter with two tablespoons of water from the pasta and mix it all together. Serve the plate of fettuccine and add shavings of Alba White Truffle.

We shall not attempt to tell you what it is like to taste this specific dish and we do advise you to try it at least once in your life and you will be thrilled.
